Nice to meet you!
My love of cars started with trips to the Goodguys car show in San Diego with my family growing up. Beyond this, my dad is a bit of a Porsche nut, so made sure I was indoctrinated into the same love. That love was able to grow and mature over time, but particularly during my time as a part of Cal Poly Racing, which gave me a community of people who were just as interested in cars and motorsport as I was, and a chance to get much more involved in the industry.
Around the same time, I took an Excel class that sparked a somewhat unexpected love of organizing information, building systems, and figuring out how things could work and connect better. As I got more involved in Cal Poly Racing, I found that these two interests fit together pretty naturally - I enjoyed the cars and motorsport, but I also really enjoyed the work behind the scenes that made everything happen.
That combination is ultimately where my career aspirations come from: a career where I can combine my interest in automotive and motorsport with my love of operations, problem solving, and making complicated things run a little better.
My Hobbies
My Hobbies
When I’m not working, I tend to bounce between hobbies that are either making me think or making me make things. I play a probably unreasonable amount of New York Times Games and have recently been trying to get into chess. I also love geography games which has made me question how well I actually know where anything is.
On the more creative side, I enjoy making jewelry, experimenting with art, and creative writing. I like having a mix of hobbies that let me solve problems, learn something new, or just make something for the sake of making it.
My Future
My Future
Long term, I want to build a career where I can use my interest in motorsport, operations, and problem solving to help shape how businesses work and grow. I’m especially interested in complex environments where good systems and thoughtful decisions can have a meaningful impact.
Ultimately, I hope to build something I can look back on and see that I helped make better, whether that’s a team, a company, or the industry itself.
